This very pretty Fantail on Manuka Panel is made from either composite aluminium (ACM) or you can have it made as an acrylic mirror. It is available in two sizes:
Small - 210mm x 292mm (8 1/4' x 11 1/2')
Large - 751mm x 535mm (29 1/2' x 21')
The fantail is called a piwakawaka in the Maori language. It flits around the forest (and our garden) catching insects in the air. Manuka is a scrubby tree whose flowers attract bees, who then go on to make world renowned manuka honey.
Whichever material you choose, it can be placed outside. I particularly like the ACM panels outside, as they withstand sun, wind, rain, and salt air without a problem. We have had these ACM panels on the outside of the shop for many years, and there has been no visible deterioration in them.
