This beautiful and immensely useful Cable Zip Up Jacket is made from natural fibres, namely NZ Merino Wool, Possum Fur, and Pure Mulberry Silk.  A combination that gives you the warmest of jackets but without the weight of traditional acrylic or thick wool jackets.  So it combines cosiness with comfort.

The mix of fibres in the yarn is 35% possum fur, 55% fine merino wool, and 10% pure Mulberry Silk.  Possum fur and silk are smooth fibres that trap warmth in their core.  Merino wool has a crimp that traps the warmth from your body.  Combined they are warmer than just wool. 

Merino also has natural properties that resist bacteria, so you can wear merino for days without it emitting body odour.  And if it gets wet, its incredible moisture-wicking ability spreads moisture across its surface, allowing it to evaporate, keeping you warm and dry.

So not only is this jacket a stylish accessory, it is also an easy jacket to wear.  And it is easy to handwash too!  

The jacket has a pretty lace cable detail, with a zipper up the front, which you can wear zipped up right under your chin.
